Project Open Hosts a Shoe Drive On June 20th.

Look for Project Open’s table at the Craft Fair and Yard Sale where we will be hosting a Shoe Drive on behalf of the non-profit, Soles4Souls.

Why Shoes?

Millions of shoes are produced each year and are never fully used, ending up in landfills or wasted entirely. At Soles4Souls, a 20-year old not-for-profit, shoes are distributed to various programs around the world to help those in need. Shoes are repurposed either to provide relief or to help create jobs through the selling of shoes in developing countries.

Note: We accept all styles, sizes, and types of shoes, as long as they still have some “life” left in them, meaning: no holes, mold, etc.
