Over Zoom, Lois Spatz, a Professor Emeritus of the Classics, will lead a discussion on "‘Oedipus The King’: Then and Now." Referencing the recent Broadway show, Oedipus The King, which was described as "a high stakes political thriller," Spatz will look at the tragedy's relevance to events of today and to ancient Athens when it was originally performed.
